1. WELCOME TO THE NEW YORK JETS FAN CLUB
1.1 What these terms cover. These member terms and conditions, and any documents referred to within them (collectively, the “Member Terms“) set out the terms that apply to you when you sign up to join the New York Jets Fan Club which is available at members.nyjetsinternational.com (the “NY Jets Fan Club“).
1.2 Why you should read them. It is important that you read and understand the Member Terms before signing up to the NY Jets Fan Club and becoming a “Member“. If you do not agree to the Member Terms, you should not apply to become a Member. We will ask you to agree to these Member Terms when you sign up to become a Member.
1.3 If there is anything within the Member Terms that you do not understand, please contact us to discuss what this means for you.
2. WHO WE ARE
The NY Jets Fan Club is operated by New York Jets, LLC (the “Jets“, “we“, “us” or “our“). If you would like to contact us about the NY Jets Fan Club, please email us at members@nyjetsinternational.com.
3. IMPORTANT WARNINGS
3.1 Signing up to the NY Jets Fan Club gives you access to a community of Jets fans and other benefits, such as events, online streaming passes and ticket presales, in each case as set out at members.nyjetsinternational.com for the applicable membership type. Becoming a member does not guarantee you access to tickets or give you season ticket holder rights.
3.2 The NY Jets Fan Club is aimed at residents of the UK and Ireland. You do not need to be resident in the UK or Ireland to become a Member, but you may not be able to access certain benefits from outside the UK and Ireland.
3.3 Some of the membership benefits may include discounts or pre-paid passes to access certain third-party services. Any discount codes or pre-paid passes can only be redeemed against new purchases of the relevant product or service that you make and new subscriptions to services you enter into after you become a Member and cannot be redeemed against any past purchases or ongoing subscriptions.
4. PRIVACY
Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use and share information about you.
5. BECOMING A MEMBER
5.1 In order to become a Member, you must:
- be at least 18 years old and be capable in your country of residence of entering into a legally binding agreement; and
- not have been previously blocked from becoming a Member or had your membership terminated by us.
5.2 The NY Jets Fan Club is open only to individual consumers for their personal and private use. You may not apply for a membership for any commercial, business or for-profit purpose.
5.3 To apply to become a Member, you will need to:
- register for and create an account on the NY Jets Fan Club website (your “Membership Account“); and
- select your membership type (free or paid).
5.4 You must ensure that any details you provide to us when you create a Membership Account are accurate and are kept up to date, as we will use these details to communicate with you and send you important information about your membership, including information about how to access certain benefits associated with your membership.
5.5 All membership applications are subject to acceptance by us. We will notify you when we have accepted your membership application by email to the address you provide to us when you create a Membership Account. The agreement between you and us in relation to your membership of the NY Jets Fan Club will take effect when we send you this confirmation email.
6. MEMBERSHIP FEES
6.1 We offer two membership options, free and paid, as further described at members.nyjetsinternational.com. You do not need to pay us anything to set up a Membership Account and become a free member, but if you would like to become a paid member you will need to provide us with the details of a valid payment method and pay us an annual membership fee as set out at members.nyjetsinternational.com (“Membership Fee“).
6.2 When you sign up for a paid membership, you authorise us to charge the Membership Fee to your chosen payment method. You also confirm that you have the right to use the relevant payment method to make purchases.
6.3 If you have purchased a paid membership, your membership will automatically renew on 1 August each year, and we will charge you the applicable Membership Fee on 1 August each year (or the next business day, if this falls on a weekend or public holiday) unless you cancel. We will send you a reminder that your membership is about to renew 2 weeks before the renewal date, and then again 1 week before the renewal date.
6.4 We may update our Membership Fees from time to time. If we do so, we will give you at least thirty (30) days’ notice. Any changes will not affect any existing paid membership that you have purchased, but will apply to any renewals of your membership after the date the changes take effect. If you do not wish to pay the amended Membership Fee, you can cancel your membership as described in paragraph 7 below.
7. CANCELLING OR ENDING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Your right to cancel your membership
7.1 You can cancel your membership at any time by emailing members@nyjetsinternational.com.
7.2 If you have purchased a paid membership, to avoid being charged the Membership Fees for the next year, you will need to notify us at least 1 business day before your membership is due to renew. If you do so, your membership will terminate the day before your membership was due to renew automatically. If you cancel your membership part-way through the year, your membership will continue for the remainder of the term of your membership and you will not receive a refund for the remainder of the term of your membership unless you cancel within the cooling off period referred to in paragraph 7.3 below.
7.3 You can also cancel your paid membership for any reason within fourteen (14) days of the commencement or renewal of your membership (the “cooling off period“). If you cancel your membership during this period, your membership will end and we will provide you with a refund in relation to the period after your cancellation takes effect.
7.4 If at any time you do not feel that you can agree to these Member Terms or any changes made to the Member Terms or the NY Jets Fan Club, you should notify us that you wish to cancel your membership immediately.
Our right to end your membership
7.5 If we determine that you have clearly, seriously or repeatedly breached the Member Terms, including, in particular, the Member Rules set out in paragraph 11, we may suspend or permanently terminate your membership. We may also disable or delete your Membership Account and/or terminate your membership if we are required to do so for legal reasons.
7.6 We may also withdraw from the NY Jets Fan Club and/or terminate your membership if we withdraw you from the NY Jets Fan Club as long as we give you at least thirty (30) days’ written notice that we plan to do this. If we terminate a paid membership in accordance with this paragraph, we will provide a refund or partial refund of any pre-paid Membership Fees in respect of any period falling after the date of termination.
What happens if you or we end your membership
7.7 If your membership terminates, you will lose access to your Membership Account and to any membership benefits that we offer in relation to your membership type. We may delete or anonymise any information that we hold about you, including any content that you have submitted in accordance with paragraph 10. If you would like to access and download any information after your Membership Account is deleted, you can do so for a reasonable period after your Membership Account is deleted. Please contact members@nyjetsinternational.com if you need to access any information or content associated with your Membership Account after your membership is terminated.
8. MEMBERSHIP CARDS
8.1 When you become a Member, you will receive an electronic membership card. If you sign up for a paid membership, you can also order a physical membership card by selecting the relevant option when you create your Membership Account, or at a later date by submitting an order through the members area accessed through your Membership Account.
8.2 You do not need to pay us any additional fees to receive a physical membership card; however, we may charge you the cost of shipping the physical membership card to you. These costs will be calculated based on your delivery address and displayed to you in the order summary during the checkout process. Please take the time to read and check your order, including your delivery and billing address.
8.3 To confirm your order, you will need to provide us with the details of a valid payment method. By submitting your payment details, you authorise us to charge the relevant shipping to your chosen payment method and confirm that you have the right to use the relevant payment method to make purchases.
8.4 All orders of physical membership cards are subject to confirmation by us once we have been able to verify the details of the transaction as well as valid payment. You acknowledge that by placing an order for a physical membership card you will be under an obligation to pay any shipping cost displayed to you in the order summary in relation to that physical membership card. When we confirm your order, we will charge you the shipping cost displayed to you in the order summary.
8.5 If at the moment of the order of a physical membership card, the physical membership card is not available, for example because the manufacturer is out of stock, we will inform you of this using the contact details associated with your Membership Account and we will not process your order. If you have already paid us any amounts in respect of shipping your membership card, we will refund you as soon as possible.
8.6 All orders for physical membership cards are subject to the availability of physical membership cards. We will inform you as soon as possible after placing an order if, for any reason, the physical membership card is not available or is subject to any delay.
8.7 Any images of the physical membership cards on the NY Jets Fan Club website or in any other promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the appearance accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer will display the appearance faithfully or reflect the true appearance of the physical membership card. The physical membership card that is delivered to you may therefore vary slightly from those images.
9. OUR CONTENT
9.1 The materials and content comprising the NY Jets Fan Club (“Our Content“) belong to us or our third-party licensors and we give you permission to use these materials and content for the sole purpose of accessing and using the NY Jets Fan Club in accordance with these Member Terms.
9.2 Your right to use Our Content is personal to you and you are not allowed to give this right to another person. Your right to use Our Content does not stop us from giving other people the right to use Our Content.
9.3 You agree that you have no rights in or to any portion of Our Content or the NY Jets Fan Club other than the right to use Our Content in accordance with these Member Terms.
10. MEMBER CONTENT
10.1 We may, as part of the NY Jets Fan Club, make available social features such as forums and discussion groups, as well as contests and sweepstakes that involve submitting text, audio, images and other content. Any material you upload, submit or contribute as part of such social features, contests or sweepstakes or otherwise in connection with your membership (your “Member Content“) must comply with the Member Rules in paragraph 11 below and any other content standards that we notify to you from time to time.
10.2 By submitting Member Content, you confirm and agree that:
- the Member Content complies with the Member Rules;
- you are responsible for backing up and securing your Member Content; and
- you have the right to use and submit your Member Content to us.
10.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login details for your Membership Account and for any activities that occur under your Membership Account.
10.4 As between the Jets and you, you are the owner or licensee of your Member Content. By submitting Member Content to the Jets, you give us permission to use and store such Member Content (anywhere in the world and on a royalty-free basis) to:
- share such Member Content with other Members to provide the social features of the NY Jets Fan Club;
- use such Member Content, where applicable, to administer the contests or sweepstakes that you participate in; and
- with your permission, to promote the Jets and the NY Jets Fan Club.
10.5 Our right to use your Member Content does not affect your privacy rights. Please read our Privacy Policy for further information about the rights you have in relation to your personal information.
11. MEMBER RULES
11.1 In addition to the other requirements within these Member Terms, this section describes specific rules that you must follow as a Member (“Member Rules“).
11.2 As a Member you must:
- comply with the New York Jets Fan Code of Conduct;
- not circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with any security related features of the NY Jets Fan Club or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of the content or materials that we make available through the NY Jets Fan Club;
- not give any false or misleading information or permit another person to use your Membership Account under your name or on your behalf;
- not impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or give the impression they are linked to us, if this is not the case;
- not misuse any part of the NY Jets Fan Club by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which would harm the NY Jets Fan Club or the equipment of any other Member, or using any automated system, including without limitation “robots”, “spiders” or “offline readers” to access the NY Jets Fan Club in a manner that sends more request messages to the NY Jets Fan Club than a human can reasonably produce in the same period of time;
- not submit or upload any Member Content which in our reasonable opinion is:
- defamatory to any person, deceptive, obscene, offensive, harmful or inflammatory;
- bullying, insulting, threatening, intimidating or humiliating;
- promoting or depicting sexually explicit material, violence, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, or is otherwise prejudicial to human dignity;
- unlawful in any way or in breach of another party’s rights (including intellectual property rights), or advocating, promoting or inciting any party to commit or assist any unlawful or criminal act.
11.3 If you fail to comply with the Member Rules, we may take all or any of the following actions (with or without notice):
- immediate, temporary or permanent removal or deletion of your Member Content;
- immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your membership of the NY Jets Fan Club;
- issuing of a warning to you;
- legal action against you including proceedings for reimbursement of all costs (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach; and/or
- disclosure of such information to law enforcement and other relevant authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.
These actions are not limited and we may take any other action we reasonably deem to be appropriate.
12. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU
12.1 We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these Member Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaching these Member Terms or our failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen.
12.2 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. Nothing in the Member Terms is intended to exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or affect your statutory rights in the laws in your country of residence.
12.3 We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the features and benefits of the NY Jets Fan Club to you but, due to the nature of the internet and technology, certain online features and benefits may be unavailable if we need to undertake any emergency or scheduled maintenance on our systems. This means that we are unable to promise that your access to and use of any features and benefits of the NY Jets Fan Club will always be uninterrupted, without delay, error-free or meet your expectations.
12.4 We may, from time to time, offer features and benefits as part of the NY Jets Fan Club that are limited in time, volume or eligibility (such as features that are available to Members creating a Membership Account after or between certain dates). We will make any limitations and eligibility criteria clear when we promote such features and benefits. We will not be responsible to you for any losses you suffer if you do not receive access to such features and benefits because you do not meet the relevant eligibility criteria or you claim the relevant features and benefits when they are no longer available.
12.5 Some benefits that we offer as part of the NY Jets Fan Club may grant you access to services offered by others that we do not own or control. When you access these services, you will be entering into an agreement with the third-party provider of that service, and we bear no responsibility for the content, practices or availability of such services.
13. DISPUTES
13.1 If you have a dispute with us relating to the NY Jets Fan Club, we would welcome the opportunity to try and make things right and resolve the dispute with you ourselves. In the first instance please contact us at members@nyjetsinternational.com and attempt to resolve the dispute with us informally. In the unlikely event that we are not able to resolve a dispute informally, we will discuss and agree with you the most effective way of resolving the dispute.
13.2 These Member Terms are governed by the law of the country in which you are resident, and we agree that any dispute arising from or related to these Member Terms will be heard in the courts of that country. If you are in Scotland or Northern Ireland, this means that you can also have your dispute heard in the Scottish or Northern Irish courts.
14. CHANGES TO THE NY JETS FAN CLUB
14.1 We are constantly updating and improving the NY Jets Fan Club to try and find ways to provide you with new and innovative features and benefits. Improvements and updates are also made to reflect changing technologies, tastes, behaviours and the way people engage with the Jets.
14.2 In order to do this, we may need to update, reset, stop offering and/or supporting a particular part or feature of the NY Jets Fan Club. These changes may affect your past activities on the NY Jets Fan Club website and features and benefits that you use (“service elements“). Any changes to the NY Jets Fan Club could involve your service elements being deleted or reset.
14.3 You agree that a key characteristic of the NY Jets Fan Club is that changes to the NY Jets Fan Club will take place over time and this is an important basis on which we provide the NY Jets Fan Club. Once we have made changes to the NY Jets Fan Club, your continued use of the NY Jets Fan Club will show that you have accepted any changes to the NY Jets Fan Club. If you do not agree to any changes, you can always cancel your membership as set out in paragraph 7 above.
14.4 We will try, where possible and reasonable, to contact you to let you know about any significant changes to the NY Jets Fan Club.
15. CHANGES TO THE DOCUMENTS
15.1 We have the right to change or amend the terms of this contract at any time, however we will notify you of such changes by way of updates to these terms on the NY Jets Fan Club website. We will also contact you by email to the address associated with your Membership Account to let you know of any upcoming changes.
15.2 Changes will usually occur because of new features being added to the NY Jets Fan Club, change in the law or where we need to clarify our position on something.
16. SOME NECESSARY FINAL DETAILS
16.1 Third party rights and transfer. This contract is between you and us. It is private and no one else has any rights to enforce its terms. All of our rights and obligations under the Member Terms are freely assignable or otherwise transferable by us in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. If we do assign or otherwise transfer our rights, the recipient will be responsible for providing NY Jets Fan Club and complying with our other obligations in these Member Terms in the same way that we are.
16.2 Entire agreement. The Member Terms make up the entire agreement between you and the Jets regarding your membership of the NY Jets Fan Club. They supersede any prior agreements.
16.3 Invalidity. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
16.4 Delays. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date. For example, if you miss a payment, and we do not chase you, but we continue to provide you with access to the features and benefits associated with a paid membership, we can still require you to make the payment at a later date.

17.2 If we need to contact you, we will do so by writing to you at the email address or phone number associated with your Membership Account, or by other legally permitted means. Please ensure your details are kept up to date. When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails and texts.
17.3 We value hearing from our users and are always interested in learning about ways we can improve the NY Jets Fan Club. By providing your feedback you agree that you are giving up any rights you have in your feedback so that we may use and allow others to use it without any restriction and without any payment to you.
